Closed-Source and Open-Source Content Management Development Compared

Aarhus, Denmark —November 8th, 2005—Alfresco, Inc., the first provider of an open source enterprise content management solution, today announced its participation in the Content Management Forum Annual Conference, in Aarhus, Denmark. John, Newton CTO and Chairman of Alfresco will present on “Comparing Closed-Source and Open-Source Content Management Development and participate in a number of panels.

This presentation compares the process of developing, marketing and supporting open-source and closed-source content management systems. Having developed both Documentum and Alfresco, an open source content management system, John is uniquely placed to compare the two methodologies of product change and development.
